Service behövs på alla instrument. Min första kontakt med instrumentet var på en hustimringskurs 1979 där en av deltagarna hade med sig en nyckelharpa. Året efter deltog jag i en kurs i Mora i hur man bygger nyckelharpor. Jag bygger en till två harpor om året, mest en egen variant som jag tycker fungerar bra.
